For this 112-unit residential project, Shehadi managed the full flooring scope, including unit flooring, corridor carpeting, stair systems, self-leveling, and amenity space finishes, while coordinating closely with the broader construction team to navigate the complexities of a historic adaptive reuse development.
Russo Development required a commercial flooring contractor capable of managing a large- scale multi-family flooring installation within a historic adaptive reuse development. The project involved extensive substrate preparation and self-leveling to address existing subfloor conditions before large-scale luxury vinyl tile (LVT) installation could begin, while corridor carpet tile, rubber stair systems, and specialty flooring installations were coordinated simultaneously across two active residential buildings within the former manufacturing facility.
By managing the complete flooring scope in-house, Shehadi provided Russo Development with a single accountable commercial flooring partner throughout the installation, helping streamline coordination, scheduling, and quality control across the project.

As a strategic partner of NuWud, Shehadi secured priority material supply to help maintain installation schedules across all 112 residential units. The project also included 1,365 square yards of Mohawk carpet tile throughout the corridors, 475 Johnsonite rubber stair treads and risers across five stair cores, engineered wood flooring in the main lobby, and custom 3/4-inch solid walnut flooring in the rooftop clubroom.
