Currently run by a 3rd generation flooring contractor family, Shehadi Commercial Flooring was established on the values of quality over quantity, treating people right, and doing the right things.
Originally founded in 1900 in New Jersey as an oriental rug business, over time the company grew into a residential and retail business eventually becoming one of the more respected commercial heavy hitters in the late 1980’s. After a long standing history, Shehadi Commercial Flooring was acquired by Lynx Equity.
With a warehouse space, box trucks and sprinter vans, we pride ourselves on being able to handle everything from start to finish. Whether you need us to move your own material or store product for larger jobs, we have the team, tools and space to take care of all your needs.

John Shehadi
PRESIDENT & 30+ YEAR INDUSTRY VETERAN
John Shehadi started with B. Shehadi & Sons in 1984 as a fourth-generation member of the family business. After managing the NYC branch location for fourteen years, Shehadi & Sons reached a prestigious level of success as the 5th largest commercial flooring contractor in the US. Due to their success, Interface, the largest manufacturer of carpet tile in the world, made an offer to buy the business.
And so in 1996, John Shehadi was transferred to Tampa, Florida to manage Interface’s service division, ReSource Florida.In 2001, John decided it was time to return to New Jersey and began a new chapter: JD Shehadi, LLC., dba Shehadi Commercial Flooring.
John continues to support leading industry associations, serving on the board of FUSE Alliance for six years.
Nathan Dunn
VICE PRESIDENT
As one of the first members of the modern Shehadi vanguard, Nathan has spent almost twenty-five years helping to grow Shehadi Commercial Flooring Inc. into the successful organization it is today.
Nathan’s breadth of experience allows him to provide his clients with an exceptional level of service and attention to detail. Specializing in large multi-surface installations are what keep Nathan busy - engaging in projects that test the limits of his knowledge and force the learning of new products and methodologies, are what keep him motivated.
In his personal life, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife, three young daughters and exploring the lakes region of Maine.
Everett Cox
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Everett has been with Shehadi for almost twenty-five years, spending many of his early years installing. Everett spent the last fifteen years helping to grow Shehadi Commercial Flooring Inc. into the successful organization it is today.
Everett brings a first hand, intimate knowledge base of flooring materials and installation practice to his Senior Project Management role, allowing him to deliver an exceptional level of service and attention to detail for Shehadi customers.
In his personal life, Everett enjoys spending time with his wife and children, and exploring the rugged outdoors of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Will Meneely
VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES
Will started in this industry in 1995 working with his brother installing carpet. Will is passionate about continuously providing exceptional service to his customers. Since 2001, Will began to quickly establish himself as a trustworthy dealer of flooring and installation due to the success of his installation company, BMW Floor Covering, and his flooring store, The Jersey Floor.
Due to the rapid growth of his current commercial establishments, in 2015 Will joined the Shehadi team to expand on his customer relationships. Will’s installation experience among multiple surfaces combined with his vast product knowledge allows him to deliver the exceptional level of service that his clients have become accustomed to.
In his personal life, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children on Lake George.
